The Herlihy Insurance Group, Inc was founded in 1927 by James J. Herlihy. The
original office was located in downtown Worcester at 390 Main Street, the Slater
Building. In 1980, Jim's son, Jay, moved the corporate offices to a new location
at 65 Elm Street in Worcester. In 2008, the agency's third generation of owners,
Jim, Colleen, John and Mark, renovated a building at 51 Pullman Street in
Worcester and moved the offices there. The agency currently has over 5,000 personal
and business clients throughout New England and represents over 50 insurance
companies. We currently employ over 25 people with an average of 10 years in
the insurance industry. Our expertise, commitment to service and access to
multiple insurance companies and programs enable us to provide a competitive
insurance program for families and businesses.
